Classroom Stipends
The PTO funds a $500 stipend per classroom, per school year, for materials and supplies. There is no pre-approval necessary. Expenses must be submitted for reimbursement via the PTO Check Request Form and receipts must be provided.
PTO Grants
Teachers may apply for a PTO grant to fund expenses that align with the PTO mission, which is “to promote and support the wellbeing and education of Roy Cloud students.” All grants must be pre-approved by PTO leadership.
What the PTO is looking to fund:
- Something necessary to enhance learning in your classroom and make your job easier
- Professional development
- Student enrichment programs and activities
- Items for which you normally collect funds from parents
Examples of items previously funded:
- Grade-level field trips
- Online subscription to A-Z reading for K-2 classrooms
- Living History Days
- Olympic mentor through Classroom Champions program
For the 2022-2023 school year, all field trip funding will be handled through the school’s administration.
Please submit grant applications as soon as possible in the school year to ensure funds are committed and get into the classrooms. All Grant requests will be reviewed immediately.

How To Get Reimbursed
For reimbursement (e.g. approved grants, teacher stipends, school event related costs, etc.) or payment to vendors / service providers on behalf of the Roy Cloud PTO using funds raised explicitly for Roy Cloud Parents Club’s 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization please fill out the online PTO Check Request Form and attach your digital receipt(s) within the form. Alternatively, you may print off the completed online form with the physical receipt(s) attached and drop offs in the school’s front office directly to the Treasurer’s folder in the PTO files. To utilize the 2022-23 funds, you must submit for reimbursement no later than May 15th, 2023.

Financial Assistance for Students
The PTO can provide confidential scholarships to students needing financial assistance with things like school supplies, a new coat, field trip fees, and similar. Please contact the PTO treasurer at [email protected].
